More Than Practice —
A Credential
Every interview is conducted, scored, and verified to one standard — so your result is a signal recruiters can act on, not just another practice session.
A Real Interview
A genuine AI-led interview that adapts and probes like a real screen — voice-based, role-aware, not a multiple-choice quiz.
A Verified Score
Your performance graded to one consistent standard across the skills that actually matter for the role.
A Profile Card
Your result becomes a shareable credential — proof of skill recruiters can act on, not a resume claim.
Recruiter Discovery
Strong, verified scores surface your profile to recruiters and employers who are actively hiring.
Role-Calibrated
Questions tuned to your target role and level, so the signal is relevant — not generic trivia.
Evidence on Record
A reviewable transcript stands behind every score. The number is auditable, not a black box.

Why Recruiters Trust
the Score
A score is only useful if it's hard to fake. Every verified result is built on the same standard — so recruiters can compare candidates with confidence.
One Standard for Everyone
Every candidate answers role-calibrated questions graded on the same rubric — no inflated self-ratings, no resume keywords.
Scored on Evidence
You're graded on what you actually demonstrate in the interview, captured in a transcript recruiters can review.
Consistent & Comparable
The same performance earns the same score every time, so results mean the same thing across every candidate.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before getting started.
Lifelike interviews use a photo-real AI avatar with real-time lipsync. Every session is graded and raises or lowers the Profile Card score recruiters see. Practice interviews use a faster animated avatar so you can rehearse without affecting your score. Free is Practice-only.
Your score is built from your Lifelike interviews and updates with every new session. Older sessions fade over 90 days, so the card reflects how you perform today — not last quarter. Free creates an ungraded card you can polish; Paid plans add Lifelike grading.
Free is private by design.
30-day money-back on any paid plan. Email support — no forms, no questions about why. We'd rather refund you than have you talk a friend out of trying.
Yes — all three, from your account settings. Upgrades start immediately and prorate against your current cycle. Downgrades take effect at the next billing date, and cancellations stay active through the end of the current cycle.
Yes. Sessions are encrypted at rest, your Profile Card is private by default, and recruiter visibility is opt-in. We never sell data, and you can request full deletion anytime.
We use the leading commercial LLMs and rotate to newer models as they release. The upgrade happens server-side — no plan change required.

What people ask before their first interview
Including the one about whether an AI score can be trusted — answered with our own evaluation of it, limits included.
TheInterviews.ai runs a real, AI-led voice interview for the role you are targeting, grades it against a published rubric, and turns the result into a Profile Card — a verified credential you can share with recruiters. It is not a question bank or a flashcard app: the score exists because an interview happened, and the full transcript is published beside it.
You pick a target role and start on demand — there is nothing to schedule. An AI interviewer asks follow-up questions in a live voice conversation, the way a human screener would, and adapts to your answers rather than reading a fixed list. The session is recorded and transcribed, then graded. A free account gets you a full interview and a private Profile Card.
Five dimensions. One rubric. Each interview is graded against a rubric chosen for its interview type — four to six named dimensions, each scored, plus an overall score out of 10 and a YES, MAYBE or NO recommendation. Those per-interview dimensions are then mapped onto five canonical ones — Technical, Problem-Solving, Communication, Code Quality and Behavioral — which is what makes different interview types comparable on one Profile Card. The full rubric, the query behind it and the date it was run are published at /scoring.
Partly, and we publish where it is not. We ran our own evaluation of the scorer against an independent rater over 177 graded interviews from 71 people, between 26 June 2026 and 28 August 2026; it found the scorer separates behaviourally distinct candidates less well than a human rater does. That result and the other measured limits are published in full at /methodology/scorer-compression, dated 28 August 2026. The transcript ships with every score, and where the two disagree the transcript is the one that is true.
A Profile Card is the credential an interview produces: your overall rating, the dimensions behind it, the skills assessed and how many graded interviews sit under it. Visibility is yours and depends on your plan — a free card is private by design, a shared card is reachable only by a link you control, and recruiter visibility is something you opt into. An unrated card shows as unrated; it is never shown as a zero.
Not to start. The free plan runs real interviews and keeps a private Profile Card, with no card required. Paid plans raise the monthly interview quota, add the more lifelike interviewer, and control how your card is shared or surfaced to recruiters. Current plans and prices are on the pricing page.
Practice tools end when the session does — you get a transcript and a feeling. Here the interview produces something a third party can check: a score against a published rubric, the transcript it came from, and a dated methodology page that names the scorer’s own weaknesses. There are no star ratings and no review scores anywhere on this site, because there is no verifiable review corpus behind them.
